Success in Court Today

This morning I successfully got a drug possession charge against my client dismissed in Newark Municipal Court.  Like many cases in Newark, I was never provided with discovery for my client.

Lesson to be learned here is never let the State keep you hanging waiting for discovery.  You have a right to a speedy trial and to know what evidence they have against you.
